transmissionDodge P0700 Transmission Codes

Do you drive a Dodge vehicle and have noticed some odd transmission behavior? Oftentimes a code will be thrown which will fall into the P0700 range. This code is fairly general and simply alerts the driver that an issue has been detected by illuminating a light on the dash. Details of the transmission problem will be recorded in the Transmission Control Module (TCM). Additional diagnosis will be necessary to uncover the root cause of the problem.

The best thing to do at this point is to have the vehicle completely inspected before further damage is caused and more repairs are in order. The TCM needs to be scanned for the details of the failure which can range from the TCM itself to the entire transmission. At Eagle Transmission in Dallas we have repaired countless situations like this. Give us a call today to see how we can help you. And don’t forget, our customer service is second to none!
